Assassin's Creed 3 is a little more than three weeks away, and developer Ubisoft has been steadily trickling out videos and details about the upcoming game as the October 30 U.S. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4 release date approaches. The latest? Ubisoft has revealed the first piece of downloadable content titled, "The Tyranny of King Washington" and a feature called Season Pass.

The DLC provides an alternate history, one where George Washington has gone mad with power and becomes an unyielding despot.

Ubisoft's description of "The Tyranny of King Washington" reads:

"As the revolution comes to a close, a new and most unexpected enemy emerges. Driven by the desire to secure the fate of the colonies, the greatest hero of the revolution, George Washington, succumbs to the temptation of infinite power. The new King is born and his reign leaves no one untouched. To return freedom to the land our new hero must dethrone a tyrant he once called friend."

It will be interesting to see how far Ubisoft takes the DLC, and whether gamers will end up assassinating one of America's most beloved leaders.

The Season Pass will come with the gold edition of Assassin's Creed 3 or will cost others $29.99, and give gamers access to upcoming DLC. The savings over individually purchasing the DLCs should add up to a 25 percent discount. Season Pass holders can also expect to get DLC before everybody else.

"Today, Ubisoft announces the Assassin's Creed III Season Pass offer, granting access to all five upcoming downloadable content packs to gamers owning the original game on PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Microsoft's Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, and Windows PC," stated Ubisoft.

PC gamers can expect Assassin's Creed 3 on November 20.
