Will Marvel again release another trailer for the much-awaited "Avengers: Age of Ultron" movie?

Coming Soon reported on January 1 that Marvel will unveil a new trailer for the upcoming movie on January 12. The trailer will reportedly be seen during the first College Football Playoff National Championship game. It will be aired at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Cinema Blend says there is also the possibility that the trailer be made available online. It is also possible that it would be a surprise, unveiling it earlier than expected.

But what could we possibly see in this second trailer? Cinema Blend's Mike Reyes has some guesses. He said it would be possible to get a glimpse of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. It would also be possible to see Paul Bettany as Vision. Or they could showcase a more Hulkbuster action.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is a sequel to the first "Avengers" film which is considered as the "third highest-grossing film of all-time" after earning $1.5 billion in 2012. It is based on the Marvel comic book series "The Avengers," which was first published in 1963.

"When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure," the movie's plot summary reads. 

The sequel will again feature original cast members: Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. Paul Bettany will portray the role of The Vision, Tom Hiddleston as the villain Loki, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, and James Spader as Ultron. There are also newcomers: Aaron Johnson as Pietro Maximoff and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff.

The movie is produced by Kevin Feige and is written and directed by Joss Whedon. it has earlier been reported that the movie might be Whedon's last for Marvel, as revealed by the leaked exchange of emails among Sony executive Amy Pascal and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" directors Anthony and Joe Russo. The rumors have not yet been confirmed.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will hit theaters on May 1.
