ABC drama 'Revenge' took fans on an emotional ride during its season one finale last spring. Fans witnessed a plane explosion and a character's brush with suicide during a pill-popping episode that put three characters' lives in peril.

According to Wetpaint, certain clues have been diverged on who makes it through and who doesn't.

The plane crash:

Wetpaint reported that only one of the two main characters aboard the Washington D.C.-bound plane survived the horrific explosion that rocked the season one finale. The good news is that it appears Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) survived the blast. According to Wetpaint, Emily VanCamp, who plays Emily Thorne, assured fans "It's safe to assume that Madeleine [Stowe] will be back" in an interview with Hamptons Magazine.

Unfortunately, Wetpaint also revealed that Lydia Davis (Amber Valletta) did not survive the explosion. The actress recently tweeted that she was no longer on set, thus confirming her character's death.

Pill-popping incident:

The season one finale of the suspenseful drama witnessed Charlotte Grayson (Christa B. Allen) emotionally down a whole bottle of pills in an apparent suicide attempt. According to Wetpaint, the girl's attempts are thwarted after she is found by Conrad Grayson (Henry Czerny). The actress told Wetpaint, "Yes, lovely people, Charlotte has survived. When we find Charlotte, in the opening of Episode 1 of Season 2, the addiction is till involved in some way and affecting her."

Allen added, "I think with the amount of harm that's been done to Charlotte, now's about the time she should start getting revenge."

Other characters:

The new season, of course, will not just revolve around these three characters. Creator Mike Kelley shared with TV Line that fans can expect more from Barry Sloane's character, who is an old flame of Emily's. Kelley said, "We're enjoying [telling] their flashback stories, and also [exploring] a present-day dynamic between these two really passionate people who share a common goal, but are at odds with how much they trust each other."

This focus on Sloane's character means fans will have to be patient on the arrival of Conrad's other son. "We do still plan to get to Conrad's first family [in the show] during the latter part of this season," Kelley said.

'Revenge' season 2 airs on September 30 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
