AMC has unveiled a video giving fans a glimpse of how the remaining episodes of the season 5 of the hit zombie TV series "The Walking Dead" would look like.

According to the Christian Post, Scott Gimple, the show's executive producer, revealed that the remaining eight episodes of the series was created with "an interesting structure filled with many emotional and crazy moments for Rick and the gang." He was also quoted in the report saying that there will probably be a "huge change for the situation of these characters."
In a report by the International Business Times, Denise Huth, who is also one of the show's executive producers, said the next episodes are going to be "darker" and "emotionally heavy."
Additionally, Huth was also cited in the Christian Post report saying that the next scenes will highlight the "humanity of the characters." They will ask who gets to live and why these people have to live. They will also continue to look for ways on how they can pursue life amid deaths and affliction.
In the video, we also see some of the show's cast talking about how would the next episodes go.
Chad Coleman, who portrays the role of Tyreese, said in the video that the remaining survivors will continue to go through hell. Meanwhile, Andrew Lincoln who plays Rick, said that the script of the the next episodes made them feel that they are in a new show and in a new place. These new changes, on the other hand, definitely excite Sonequa Martin-Green, who plays the role of Sasha in the series.
After the shocking death of Beth in the midseason finale episode, Maggie Greene, will have to face how to live life without her sister, says Lauren Cohad (who plays Maggie). She was quoted in the Christian Post report saying that her character will be seen "fighting a dark side that she's always resisted." Abraham, Eugene and the D.C. gang on the other hand become "directionless" after Eugene's deception was revealed.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly revealed some rumors saying that the setting for pilot of the series' spinoff will be in Los Angeles.
"The scenery shift to the West Coast adds some intriguing setting possibilities: Beaches and the ocean, Hollywood, iconic landmarks, walker celebrities (though the cable show could likely never top Bill Murray in Zombieland), a nearby desert, and a larger metropolis to play with than the original hit's occasional dips into Atlanta," the report said. However, it added that this does not mean that the scenes will be shot in LA as AMC has not yet confirmed these rumors. The pilot episode was written by Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson.
"The Walking Dead" will be back on February, 2015 after its hiatus for the winter according to Undead Walking.
