While the throngs of Jurassic Park fans were awed by the official trailer of the "Jurassic World," the fourth installment to the movie franchise, lead star Chris Pratt seems to be unimpressed with his acting performance in the teaser.
Talk about being serious and a perfectionist with his acting craft, that's the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star is all about.
USA Today reported that Chris Pratt had to cringe upon watching the official trailer because he was disappointed with his performance.
"I'm just like, 'Aw, why did I do that with my eyebrow?' Unfortunately, it was one of those things you do as an artist where you're hypercritical about it the first time you see it. I had to take a couple of steps back and keep watching it before I was like, 'Oh my God, that is really good.' So it took me two or three times seeing it before I knew it was great," Pratt told Venture in an interview.
Despite his disappointment with himself, Pratt assured fans: "The movie's gonna be 10 times better than the trailer," added the report.
The hypercritic in him also drives him to always strive for 100% satisfaction not just of himself but also of movie fans, Venture said.
"You know what's so cool? I don't read comments online a lot. I've learned not to do that, because 19 of them can be great and the 20th won't be. And you'll think about it all day," the certified hunk said.
While Chris is a bit too critical with his own performance, he is not as tough to other people's creative works and efforts, which makes him well-liked by his peers, cites the report.
'Jurassic World' would hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
The movie is about the corporate desire of an already functioning dinosaur theme park called "Jurassic World" to entice more visitors. Apparently, the plant went horribly haywire. By haywire, it most likely mean a T-Rex just like in previous Jurassic Park movies.
The park is situated in Isla Nublar, the same site of the original Jurassic Park put up by John Hammond 22 years ago.
A collaboration between Legendary Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, Chris Pratt topbills the film as Owen, Bryce Dallas Howard as Beth, Ty Simpkins as Gray, along with Judy Greer, Nick Robinson and David Oyelowo.
Colin Trevorrow helms from the screenplay written by himself along with best-selling author Michael Crichton and three others writers.
