The on-again, off-again relationship of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez is currently in the off mode.
However, it seems that Bieber, 20, who has broken Selena Gomez's heart over and over again for his womanizing escapades, is now reportedly ready to make amends, cites Hollywood Life.
Not too long ago, there were rumors that Justin was secretly dating Kendall Jenner.
"Despite the fact that people assume Justin and Kendall have hooked up, they have not. They are legit best friends and Selena knows this. She initially thought that they were having an affair and told Justin to stay away from her. She eventually realized that it (Justin distancing from Kendall) was not going to happen though," an insider told Radar Online.
While Selena is now aware that the fling (between Justin and Kendall) never happened, Jenner's closeness with Bieber is still causing anxiety issues on Gomez, added the report.
Latest rumor has it that Justin is now shopping for a diamond ring, which he plans to use in proposing to the 22-year-old Selena and promise her a possible life together and a good future, said Hollywood Life.
A source said that Justin is spreading word that Selena Gomez will be his wife and that he is dead serious in putting a happy ending or beginning in their never-ending love saga, notes the report.
The site detailed that Justin went shopping to Avianne & Co Jeweler's showroom in New York on November 12 where he scouted for various engagement rings. He also reportedly said that he wants a special custom design engagement ring for Selena.
Justin appears quite confident that he will be able to win back Selena but another report of Hollywood Life seems to say otherwise.
Apparently, Selena wants nothing to do with Justin starting in 2015, the report said.
"Selena has her New Year's resolution intact. She wants nothing to do with Justin. She wants to do it cold turkey. She wants music to be her 2015 obsession. It's time to move on," reveals an insider to Hollywood Life.
Having been privy to the Justin-Selena relationship for quite some time, many fans believe that Sel's 'no-Justin' New Year's resolution could actually be broken once Bieber pops the question.
"If Justin Bieber gives Selena Gomez's hand what it (secretly) wants (a ring of course), then she might break her resolution for 2015 according to a brand new report," cites Hollywood Life.
Whether Justin will be faithful to her for as long as they live after that is already a different story.
