Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather have been exchanging blows on social media as they continue to taunt each other. Fans are still wondering when the two would finally come to terms to make an actual fight happen.

Bleacher Report wrote that after Pacquiao taunted Mayweather to fight him in a Foot Locker commercial and after defeating New Yorker Chris Algieri, Mayweather responded by posting a video clip on Instagram showing Pacquiao get knocked down then knocked out by nemesis Juan Marquez to the tune of "Another One Bites The Dust" by Michael Jackson.

However, experts predict that a real bout between the two boxing superstars is closer than ever as the two camps and their respective networks, Showtime and HBO, are seriously discussing matters. IOL.com reported that Mayweather is allegedly demanding for a re-match clause in the supposed deal in the event that he loses to Pacquiao.

In the same IOL.com report, Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach reportedly revealed Floyd's stipulation, "My understanding is that Floyd is insisting on the re-match if Manny beats him, which I believe he will. That's okay with us."

USA Today reported how Pacquiao's network, HBO, can collaborate with Mayweather's network, Showtime, to finally come up with a mega-fight in 2015. The two networks previously came together to realize a dream match between Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis.

Although the fight was previously estimated by Bob Arum, Pacquiao's promoter, to gross $200 to $300 million, the total can change to $1 billion if Arum successfully taps the giant Chinese television market, urging majority of the population to purchase pay-per-views. Mayweather can rake in about $80 million from the staggering amount, which may compel him to accept the offer. Arum added that the fight should happen if boxing should be considered a major sport.

In the same report by USA Today, Mayweather has two more fights left in his Showtime contract. In his last two fights against Marcos Maidana, he did not bring in at least one million pay-per-views. Pacquiao has been showing much of his old self in his past three wins, including knocking down Algieri six times.

A re-match clause demand from Mayweather would be good news to boxing fans, compared to his previous requests such as random blood tests and not fighting Pacquiao as long as he is promoted by Top Rank.

Arum said, "Floyd is afraid of losing his unbeaten record to Manny. But that's not what defines greatness. Ali lost, Robinson lost, Leonard lost... but they're still all-time greats. What counts is fighting the best of your era."
