I'm sure you've heard your parents or secular friends tell you that all your virtual accomplishments in videogames amount to nothing in real life. It may not be the perfect substitution, but in-game "achievements" allow for gamers to strive towards a pre-set goal from the developers (the sound of unlocking an achievement is also quite pleasant, as many Xbox 360 gamers can confirm).

Now it looks like Exophase has gotten their hands on the list of achievements for Ubisoft's upcoming game Assassin's Creed 3 ahead of its release.

The achievement list does contain spoilers about the game, so read them at your own risk - or use them to mentally gear up. Head over to Exophase for the full list.

Assassin's Creed 3 is the latest installment in the successful Assassin's Creed series, and many  think this is looking like it will be the best one yet.

Assassin's Creed 3 will take place in colonial America, during the latter half of the 18th century. It will complete the story of the series' protagonist Desmond Miles, and feature him more heavily in the gameplay than before.

The focus will still be on the assassin avatar, which this time around will be Connor Kenway, a revolutionary whom Ubisoft describes as a "ninja tank with a wolverine inside it" and "the spark that ignites the American Revolution."

The game will take place mostly in a countryside called the Frontier, but will allow gamers to visit famous locales such as Boston and New York.

The game has been reworked from the ground up, according to developer Ubisoft, and will introduce a more fluid, robust combat system that will allow players to use weapons such as tomahawks and flintlock pistols.

It will also introduce a new naval battles feature, during which gamers can control a ship, or board them to wreak havoc with Connor Kenway. There will also be a new emphasis on multiplayer, which will include modes such as 'Wolf Pack.'

Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 3 is slated for an October 30 Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 U.S. release date, and a November 20 PC release date.
