With Taylor Swift off the dating market for a while, it seems that the star is looking for other inspirations for her music. With her BFF Selena Gomez in what seemed to be one of the messiest relationships in their generation with Justin Bieber, Taylor has a lot of material to spare.

According to Hollywood Life, the song "How You Get The Girl" from her latest album, "1989" is similar to that of Jelena's struggles in their relationship.

The country-turned-pop star told Us Weekly, "It's written for a guy who has broken up with his girlfriend, then wants her back after six months. But it's not going to be as simple as sending a text like, 'Sup? Miss you.'"

She also told Radio.com that it's the song where, if you're lucky, you can learn a lot of relationships, cheerfully adding, "The song 'How You Get the Girl' is a song that I wrote about how you get the girl back if you ruined the relationship somehow and she won't talk to you anymore. Like, if you broke up with her and left her on her own for six months and then you realize you miss her. All the steps you have to do to edge your way back into her life, because she's probably pretty mad at you. So it's kind of a tutorial. If you follow the directions in the song, chances are things will work out. Or you may get a restraining order."

Despite all her success, Taylor's talent has been in the back burner while she was on a dating spree, and now, she decided to stop with the dating for a while, telling Us Weekly, "It broke my heart!" the 1989 singer, 24, tells Us. "I was selling out stadiums and it was all people talked about."

Now, without all the boys lining up as her next relationship catastrophe, she can finally say that she's at the point where people appreciated her talent instead of her love life, telling the magazine, "Now people talk less about the things that don't matter."

With all the success that Taylor has in her career, you'd think she has someone to look up to, but apparently, there's none in the business. She told Time Magazine, "We're taught to find examples for the way we want our lives to wind up. But I can't find anyone, really, who's had the same career trajectory as mine."

But back to the song, do you really think that "How You Get The Girl" is about Selena and the Biebs?
