Most celebrities are on social media to keep in touch with their fans, may it be about the good things or the bad.

But don't expect Jennifer Lawrence to be one of those who will spend her life on Twitter. According to the actress, she cannot imagine herself ever being part of the social media site. She told Nick Grimshaw of BBC 1 on Tuesday, "I will never get Twitter. I'm not very good on phone or technology. I cannot really keep up with emails so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me. I don't really understand what it is. It's like this weird enigma that people talk about. It's fine. I respect that. But no, I'll never get a Twitter. If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that says it's me, it most certainly is not."

JLaw seemed very serious with her answer that Grimshaw had to ask her why she got so serious about that question, she said with a laugh, "I had that one locked and loaded, I really like laser focused [on that answer]...it's because the internet has scorned me so much that I feel like it's that girl in high school that I'm like, 'Oh, you want to talk about her? Yeah I'll do that!' Take my hoops off, I'm ready to go."

Earlier this year, the actress was one of the victims of a mass photo scandal that showed nude photos of stars on the internet. She spoke to Vanity Fair, saying, "It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime. It is a sexual violation. It's disgusting."

She went on, "The law needs to be changed, and we need to change. That's why these web sites are responsible. Just the fact that somebody can be sexually exploited and violated, and the first thought that crosses somebody's mind is to make a profit from it. It's so beyond me. I just can't imagine being that detached from humanity. I can't imagine being that thoughtless and careless and so empty inside."

Like her strong character on "The Hunger Games," however, Jennifer kept on going despite the scandal, eventually telling the magazine, "Time does heal, you know. I'm not crying about it anymore. I can't be angry anymore. I can't have my happiness rest on these people being caught, because they might not be. I need to just find my own peace."

Social media and scandals aside, Jennifer Lawrence is starring alongside Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth on "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" which will be in theaters November 21.
