It's very hard to keep track of the Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber relationship: they're always on again and off again. However, Selena may have taken a page out of her BFF Taylor Swift's book because she just released a new song called "The Heart Wants What It Wants" which Hollywood Life said is much edgier and with a darker feel. Naturally, everyone thinks it's dedicated to the Biebs.

And they are right, Selena herself confirmed in an interview with Ryan Seacrest that it is, indeed, about her on-again, off-again boyfriend. She admitted, "I think the biggest problem I had this year--even with him and on his side--is identity. I was 21 this year, I turned 22, and I was trying to figure out what I'm doing, and it was the first time I was constantly being kicked down for doing that."

She also went on to say, "I made some decisions that weren't great and so did he, and that's why I feel like we went through all that to only make us better."

The video opens with a recording of the singer having an emotional breakdown about her relationship with Bieber. She confessed, "You make me feel crazy, you make feel like it's my fault. I was in pain."

What did Bieber have to say about the song, though?

Selena confided, "He has heard it, and he has seen the video. He thought it was beautiful. I think it was really hard at first."

She also added, jokingly, "I think he was a little jealous of the video guy at first!"

Justin was not the only one who knew about the project. Selena's BFF, Taylor Swift, also saw the video before most did, and according to Selena, Taylor loved it. She told Ryan, "She loved it. She's very dramatic and I love her so much. So she came over to the house, and I played it. She had headphones in, and she watched the video, and then she just looked at me, then she looked back, and then played it three times over and over again. And I'm like, 'I want to know,' and she was like, 'Oh my God. This is amazing. I'm so excited for you.'"

As for her relationship with the Biebs, she said, "I support him. I think I always will. I'm upset when he's upset, I'm happy when he's happy. I don't want anything to ever happen to him bad. It hurts me. That's all."
