It has been four years since Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda of "Sex and the City" were together on screen and the last movie was not exactly received well, according to People Magazine, so it may have been the last of it.

But then, new rumors say that another "Sex and the City" movie may be happening, especially after a hint from Jennifer Hudson on Dish Nation. There, the singer revealed, "I think it might be [happening]. Somebody just came to me talking about that. So if it's in the talks, it might happen. So look out for your girl Louise from St. Louis."

The hint from Hudson came after SATC producer Michael Patrick King told Entertainment Weekly back in February that they may have "one story left."

SATC star Sarah Jessica Parker also added fire to the flames when she gushed about the franchise still having another chapter left for a film. She said, "Michael and I know what the story would be, but when and if it's ever told, there has been no concrete discussion about it ever."

In an interview with In Style via E! Online in January, Parker remarked on the potential third movie, saying that "A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell. But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn't a decision that can wait forever. I don't want to have to wear muumuus!"

Kristin Davis also said in Haute Living, "I don't think [a third film] is a pipe dream, there is discussion. People talk about it amongst the people who are the players, but I don't know if it will come together. It would be very exciting if it did."

However, it seems that an official announcement for the next SATC movie may come soon. Parker and Davis were tweeting each other about good news with Davis posting a photo of herself and Parker last Friday, captioned, "@SJP Miss YOU XOXOXO!! <3,"

Parker replied with a perky tweet mentioning of news which caused fans to think is the green light for "Sex and the City 3": "@KristinDavis Me too you! Heard the news? X"

But when a fan asked Parker on the specifics, she just tweeted back with "That news zooming around. X sj."

So do you think "Sex and the City 3" is really happening, or are the stars just teasing us about it?
