Xbox One Games October 2014 Release Date: NBA 2K15, Legend of Korra, Evil Within & More!

A total of 19 Xbox One games will hit the market this October, including the highly popular "Lords of the Fallen," the "Evil Within," "Sunset Overdrive," and "Duck Dynasty."

The most popular Xbox One games is a blend of action, adventure, and hunting, indicating the varying make up of today's gamers.

The eagerly-anticipated "NBA 2K15" and "Legend of Korra" are also due to hit the gaming community this month.

IGN listed the official release dates of each Xbox One games for the remaining months of the year. The site also enumerated those whose official dates of release has yet to be confirmed, indicating either Q4 2014 or TBA 2014.

Expected to first hit the market this month is "Skylanders Trap Team", an action-adventure game, developed by Activision. It will be released on October 5, 2014, reports IGN.

Four titles will then be released two days later on October 7 including "Duck Dynasty", "NBA 2K15", "Project Spark," and "Alien Isolation."

On October 14, three titles would be released including "The Evil Within", "Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition," and "The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series - Season One."

Another set of three video games would then hit the retail market one week thereafter, October 21 to be exact, including "The Legend of Korra", "Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved," and "The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series - Season Two."

Ubisoft's "Just Dance 2015" will be released all by its lonesome on October 23.

Three of the most anticipated Xbox One games will bring up the rear of the October release date including "Sunset Overdrive", "Lords of the Fallen", and "NBA Live 15," all with a scheduled release date of October 28.

Four Xbox One games also have October 2014 release dates, but all have yet to announce specific dates.

These include: "Grand Theft Auto Online", "Costume Quest 2", "Styx: Masters of Shadows", and "Shadow Warrior."

In a report and highly similar listing by Metacritic, a total of 20 Xbox One games will be released this month. It added to the list "Dead Rising 3: Apocalypse Edition", which would hit retail stores on October 8.

Metacritic also added "Shadow Warrior" to be released on October 14 and the "Need for Speed: Rivals - Complete Edition" due on October 21.
