Fans of the hit show, "Friends," were absolutely delighted when comedian and late night television host, Jimmy Kimmel, did the impossible: bring together three of the female cast of the well-loved show, Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) and Courtney Cox (Monica), to reprise their famous roles -- well, sort of.

On Wednesday night, Aniston appeared on Kimmel's show as a guest star. The host interviewed the actress about her life after "Friends," and he managed to convince her to exchange some fan fiction lines with him, with a perfectly recreated version of Monica's kitchen in the background, Buzzfeed said.

Kimmel joked that he spent $80,000 to recreate the kitchen, from the curtains and its familiar brick wall with blue-painted cupboards down to the drawers. The exit door of Monica and Rachel's apartment was copied perfectly, with its lilac-hued paint.

Aniston, who looked lovely in a black strapless dress and sexy strappy heels, appeared to be unwilling to participate, especially when Kimmel presented her with a "Rachel" wig, Sydney Morning Herald said. The wig pertains to the haircut Aniston's character has been known for in the show.

"No, no, no, no. I am not doing that. I have boundaries, Jimmy," Aniston told the host in jest.

When the two started reading out their parts in the fan fiction, wherein Aniston played Rachel while Kimmel played a very confident Ross, the pair were later joined by Kudrow and Cox. Aniston looked surprised with their appearances, more so, the audience, as their loud cheers suggested that there is still a clamor for a "Friends" reunion, Buzzfeed said.

It could be noted that the 20th anniversary of the show is on September 20th. SMH said Warner Bros. has already unveiled plans for a pop-up Central Perk coffee house in New York. The iconic fictional hotspot is where the "Friends" cast hang out and many a scene has taken place there.

In real life, all six "Friends" cast have remained close through the years. When US Weekly talked to Kudrow, who now stars in Showtime's "Web Therapy," she shared about her latest dinner date with Cox and Aniston.

"It was really fun, great to see them. I got to see (Cox) the ring," Kudrow said.

Cox is engaged to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid, the magazine said.

"Fun, really fun. It's people I spent every day with for 10 years and no matter how much time has passed or how much we haven't been able to see each other, it doesn't matter," Kudrow added.
