If you will not be able to make it to one of the biggest trade conferences in the world, chances are you will be missing the first look at the biggest toys to date. The annual pop culture celebration, which would lift off on Thursday in San Diego, will be the venue where toy designers will go all the way to feature the most coveted collectible items to go on sale, NBC News said.

Here are some of the top toys you will be missing out at the San Diego Comic Con 2014:

Batmobile replica model and a Superman villain 9-inch action figure

Mattel, the company who has gained fame thanks to its Barbie collection, is expected to debut ten toys created specifically for the Comic-Con attendees, NBC News reported. A couple of those toys are the Batmobile replica from the video game "Batman: Arkham Knight" and the Superman killer Doomsday action figure.

Mattel's senior vice president of global brand marketing for boys and entertainment Doug Wadleigh said about the special toy lineup, "It's one of the coolest things we do. We don't have to worry about retail. We don't have to worry about margins. We don't have to worry about operational efficiencies. We only have to worry about creating the coolest toys for our fans. Period."

It was a cool marketing ploy for Mattel to release toys with links to the "Dark Knight" and the "Man of Steel", considering the fact that film production is underway for the highly-anticipated film "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." The toys are only sold exclusively on Mattel collectors' special site and on the Comic Con show floor, which would be feraturing a Hot Wheels-themed shuttle bus.

Darth Vader die-cast car

Excited with JJ Abrams' treatment for the upcoming "Star Wars" sequel? You can have an exclusive piece of the science fiction franchise memorabilia thanks to Mattel's and "Star Wars'" first official collaboration. NBC said that Mattel will also feature a Darth Vader die-cast car, which would look like the baby of a Chevrolet Corvette C5 and the villanous Sith lord's helmet.

"We've been trying to partner with Lucasfilm and Disney on this property for a long time. It took us time to get them to understand how Hot Wheels and `Star Wars' could be married together to create a unique opportunity within the vehicle space. It blows me away to finally see it come to life in such a beautiful form. It's gorgeous."

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back 2-Pack

Director Kevin Smith has been rumored to be tapped as a fake screenwriter for the new Batman/Superman film. On the other hand, Smith has long been famed as the creator of the comic book heroes Jay and Silent Bob. Thanks to Minimates, the duo will have a special collectible thanks to Toys "R" Us. Both standing at 2 inches tall and have 14 points of articulation, the action figures might have some of its fans wondering whether Smith is brewing another comic book, or movie adventure for the duo.

MINECRAFT Creeper Anatomy

What is Comic Con without any latest Minecraft development? That would surely sent fans to have a heart attack. However, Spin Master has brought the most iconic enemy in the video game series to life thanks to its one-of-a-kind item that features window display packaging with foil printing, including detailed info regarding the creature's anatomy, ComicBook.com said.

POWER RANGERS Mighty Morphin' Legacy Lord Zedd action figure

As buzz around the upcoming Power Rangers movie increases, Bandai intends to capitalize the renewed interest in the superhero group by releasing a 5-inch figure of Lord Zedd.
