Five months' wait may feel like ages for "Hunger Games" fans eager to see the film adaptation of the first part of the third and final chapter of the enormously popular saga. However, Lionsgate was able to graciously make the wait a bit less agonizing by releasing a set of posters showing various district heroes in all their finery.

"The marketing for the 'Hunger Games' movies is just as artistically unique, but the latest round of promotional posters for 'Mockingjay, Part 1,' the first part of the final chapter in the saga, are the most visually stunning pieces we've seen from the franchise," Screen Crush observed. "Featuring heroes from every district, these Panem propaganda posters have us even more pumped for all the craziness that's gonna go down in the final two films."

Indeed, the beautifully shot images appear to do nothing to quell fans' hunger for the final installations of the movie. One shows Elias Haan of District 7 - "a man who lost a leg and is seen posing with his ax," according to the entertainment news site. However, judging by the many tattoos and muscular build of the character, it may be a mistake to say that Elias is in any way weak or incapacitated, despite losing a limb.

Another poster shows Malcolm Kastel of District 6, sporting an amazing pair of tire pants, which matched the giant tire slung over a muscular shoulder. There's also a poster of Lily Elsington of District 12, looking charming and riveting even as her 6-year-old figure is covered in dirt.

Then there's the dark-skinned beauty Triti Lancaster, 17 years old, from the Grain District, which is also known as District 9. She "could be on the cover of a fashion magazine. But the brace she's wearing - while striking - also implies what backbreaking work she endures in the gathering of grain when the Capitol's camera crew and make-up team isn't around," Cinema Blend noted.

This batch of posters was reportedly "ostensibly created by the Capitol Ministry of Information," according to Screen Rant. A "government site" has been set up for Panem, TheCapitol.pn, where the posters were unveiled. The Technology District, Livestock District, and Fishing District were also represented in the said series of images.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" will hit theaters on November 21 later this year. Jennifer Lawrence will be back as heroine Katniss Everdeen, while Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, and Stanley Tucci will also return to reprise their respective roles.
