The best of international fashion and design gathers this week on Miami, Florida's beautiful beaches for a week of fashion with Fashion Week 2014, with a focus on Latino beauty this year.

The Miami Beach Convention Center is the stage which blankets, from May 15 to May 18, the most internationally renowned designers. The Miami Fashion Week contains the collections of over seventy designers, an enviable boutique and gastronomical exhibit prepared by famous chefs, with the presence of Miss Universe 2013, Venezuelan model Gabriela Iser, according to Miami Diario.

Among the best designers are Custo Barcelona, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Andrés Sardá. Also, Sherri Hill, Nicolás Felizola and Stella Jean.

Among the Hispanic designers sprucing up the Miami Fashion Week are: Olga Bolaños, Claudia Bertolero, Nicolás Felizola, Lisu Vega and Paulo Silva; in charge of providing the Latino fabric to the runways, showing off the design talent of Latin America to the world.

Nicolás Felizola and Lisu Vega will have the opportunity to present their designs in the Eastern Air Lines Miami Style Showcase, providing ideas for the design of uniforms for flight attendants, with a Latino touch, very well-known in the city of Miami.

Álvaro Garnica, president of the event, said that this year the exhibit will be focused on "resort fashion", with a pre-spring and spring line, and they hope that the Miami runways cast the spotlight on this fashion, according to El Universal.

The opening night on Thursday was hosted by local designers Erin Healy, Vika Frolova and Fabrizio de Castro, followed by Nicolá Felizola and Spaniard Custo Barcelona at the closing of the event.

On Friday, Lola Kids will present cruise fashion for children, followed by runways from Jones African American, and the special participation of Spaniard Andrés Sardá. On Saturday, Fadila Kihel, Magnolia and Teresa Rosati will parade their afternoon clothes, followed by Argentinians Agostina Bianchi, Cuarto Colorado and Mariana Castro and Italians Maliparmi and Stella Jean.

The closing of the Miami Fashion Week will feature runways from Sherri Hill and Spaniard Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.
