The Oklahoma City Thunder now lead the series 3-2 after a stunning victory over the Los Angeles Clippers with a final score of 104-105.

The OKC Thunder clawed back after trailing by seven points with less than a minute left during the fourth quarter in Game 5 of the series. Russell Westbrook had a stellar performance, scoring 38 points, and shot three free throws with 6.4 seconds left on the clock. Kevin Durant scored 5 of the 7 final points with a three-pointer and a layup, according to an ESPN report.

Westbrook made a steal to give OKC the possession with only 11.3 seconds left. There was a scramble after the steal and the officials saw it was a foul and gave Thunder possession in the final seconds which led to Westbrook's final three free shots.

Doc Rivers, coach of the Clippers, said, "Everybody knows it was our ball. The bottom line is they thought it was a foul and they made up for it. Let's take away the reply. We were robbed. It was our ball, whether it was a foul or not."
According to Bleacher Report, Doc Rivers was heard telling referee Tom Washington, "That was you. That was our ball."

Westbrook helped OKC stay close to the Clippers for almost all four quarters. In his final play, he picked a difficult one. He hurled a three-point shot with six seconds left, instead of going for a strong drive against Chris Paul. The shot missed, but the referee called it a foul. Westbrook was given three free throws which he all made.

Chris Paul commented on the huge upset, "That don't matter. We shouldn't have been in that situation."

A lot of OKC fans resorted to social media to attack Scott Brooks in his poor usage of MVP Kevin Durant. Many said that he should no longer continue his tenure with the Thunder and that Durant stayed idle most of the game because of the weird offensive strategy.
