The Charlotte Bobcats are reportedly interested in signing former Duke Blue Devils shooting guard Seth Curry, a reliable league source disclosed on Friday.

Seth, the son of former Charlotte Hornets outside shooter Dell Curry and the brother of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft despite crafting a solid college career in Duke.

The Bobcats have become the frontrunner in signing Curry, not only because of his father's affiliation with the team but also his ability to shoot the ball from the outside efficiently.

Curry averaged 17.5 points and 2.5 rebounds, and shot 44 percent from the three point line in his junior year with the Blue Devils. The 6-foot-2 Curry might be a little undersize for the shooting guard position, but the presence of Al Jefferson and Cody Zeller in the interior will provide him the open look to drain his jumpers.

The Orlando Magic have officially waived veteran forward Al Harrington on Thursday. Harrington, who averaged 13.7 points and 5.7 rebounds in his career, is looking to sign with a contender for a shot at winning his first title at age 33.

The San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Clippers, and Chicago Bulls are likely suitors, while the Los Angeles Lakers could also be in the hunt for the veteran.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks are reportedly in talks to bring in NBA veterans Jannero Pargo and Ivan Johnson.

Pargo played for three ball clubs (Washington Wizards, Atlanta Hawks and Bobcats) last season, averaging five points and two assists in just 14 minutes per game.

Meanwhile, Johnson spent his first two seasons in the league with the Hawks, providing them toughness and energy coming off the bench. Johnson averaged 6.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in less than 16 minutes per game.
