In March this year, we learned that George Clooney's former arm candy, Stacy Keibler, got married to entrepreneur Jared Pobre, and is currently pregnant with their first child. Now, we're told that the couple is going to be parents to a baby girl, as reported by Us Weekly.
"They are really excited," an insider told the American publication. The pair has been married for only a month.
"Keibler, 34, and Pobre, 39, tied the knot in an impromptu wedding during a Mexican vacation with their families on March 8. Once their loved ones arrived, the couple said 'I do' and celebrated a 'rogue' ceremony," Us Weekly recalled.
"The newlyweds continued the surprises when they revealed two weeks later that they are expecting a bundle of joy."
Stacy chose to make her happy announcement on Twitter on March 24, sharing a photo of a bun in an oven with the caption, "Look what we've got cooking!"
The newlyweds also told People magazine that they're "an elated family-to-be."
"I'm extremely excited about starting a family and building a future with Stacy," Jared said. The former pro wrestler shared the same sentiment, saying, "We're really eager to start a family."
"Both Jared and I didn't think that we were ever going to get married or have kids... When you meet the right person, everything changes," she added. "I'm so excited for the new chapter in my life. I'm so ready for it. I feel for the first time like I'm really fulfilled and at peace."
These revelations somehow coincide with speculations that the reason the TV host and her famous actor ex- was because "The Monuments Men" was not ready to get hitched and have children -- two goals that Stacy apparently wanted to achieve for herself.
Apparently, she was ready and eager to start a family as she embarked on another romance only a few months after breaking up with George.
