"Due to overwhelming demand on Facebook and Twitter, Backstreet's back, all right!" sang Kevin Richardson, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, and Nick Carter while appearing on 'Good Morning America' on Friday, ABC News reported.

"We're coming back out on tour in the US and Canada this summer," Kevin, the eldest in the group, continued. He also went on to reveal ticket sale information and the fact that Avril Lavigne will be joining them on tour. Hollywood Life applauded the Boys' decision to get Avril on board, saying the move is "so smart."

"The Backstreet Boys don't need another act to join them to sell tickets - and neither does Avril Lavigne! However, the fact that they're joining together for the North American tour will bring happiness to so many - because if you were too young for BSB, you weren't too young for Avril!" exclaimed Hollywood Life's Emily Longeretta.

"Basically, with their style completely different - from looks to sounds to fans - it will bring double the crowd," the entertainment news source said.

Needless to say, BSB is taking no prisoners and want to make sure their next musical outing will be a smashing hit - with a capital S.

The tour, dubbed "In a World Like This," will begin in Moncton, New Brunswick in Canada on May 3 and will end in Wantagh, N.Y. on June 22. The American leg of the tour will begin on May 22 in Seattle. You can check out the tour schedule and ticket information on their official website. Ticket selling starts on March 21, Friday. To get pre-sale tickets, enlist for BSB digital membership at the same site.

Then, in July, the group will release its latest album called, you guessed it, "In a World Like This."

Will you be going to one of their shows this summer?
