Did Ted finally met the mysterious mother of his children? The popular television series "How I Met Your Mother" has wrapped up their finale episode on Friday last week, said E! Online. Fans will be expecting the finale episode to be aired on March 31, with show protagonist Ted, played by actor Josh Radnor, meeting the mother of his children, played by actress Cristin Milioti, for the first time.
According to the Huffington Post, the CBS show will be ending the television series with an hour-long episode, to be followed by James Van Der Beek's new show, "Friends With Better Lives."
E! Online said the co-stars of the television series were also sentimental about their final episode. Radnor tweeted a photo on Saturday, showing the location of one of his final scenes for HIMYM, which, for the uninitiated, is the place where his character meets the mother of his children. The entertainment news site is speculating that the scene will let the world know what the Milioti's name will be.
Allison Hannigan, who plays Lily Aldrin in the series, thanks the series' fans on Twitter after wrapping up her scenes for the movie also on Saturday. Colbie Smulders, whose character played one-time love to Radnor's Ted, thanked the show's cast and the crew for the nine-year run of the show on Instagram.
Show co-creator Craig Thomas tweeted a couple of photos showing iconic items of the television show. One of the photos was the yellow umbrella, which was one of the first clues HIMYM shared to fans about the details of Ted's encounter with the mother of his children. After the show's wrap party, Thomas parted with another photo, this time of a fruit only popular to the show's fans.
