On Feb.14 Warner Bros. will release "Winter's Tale" to terrible reviews.

The new film, starring Colin Farrell, Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly and Jessica Brown-Findlay, tells the story of a burglar who falls for an heiress as she dies in his arms. When he learns that he has the gift of reincarnation, he sets out to save her.

The movie is being billed as a fantasy-romance film for Valentine's Day, and has scored negative reviews. The movie currently has a 6 percent aggregate score on Rotten Tomatoes and is likely to become one of the worst-reviewed films of the year.

Rex Reed from the New York Observer gave the film a negative review and stated, "Oblique, unstructured and demented, 'Winter's Tale' aims to cast a dreamlike spell, but it's more like a nightmare."

Todd McCarthy from Hollywood Reporter also disliked it, calling the film "an ineffectual account of an eternal love."

Justin Chang from Variety also gave it a bad review and said, "Akiva Goldsman's feature-directing debut is a cloying, sledgehammer-subtle adaptation of Mark Helprin's vastly richer novel."

Jim Vejvoda from IGN gave the movie five and a half stars out of 10 and wrote, "'Winter's Tale' is a staggering mess, sloppy and unstructured in its execution and a waste of all the considerable acting talent involved."

The new film marks the directorial debut of Academy Award winning writer Akiva Goldsman and also stars William Hurt, Eva Marie Saint, Will Smith, and Matt Bomer. "Winter's Tale" is rated PG-13 for violence and some sensuality and is expected to be released in 2,750 theaters.
