Anna Kendrick is adorable and witty, and sometimes, she says the darnest things. These things have made fans fall in love with her; and these characteristics are also present in a new (non?) Superbowl Ad Newcastle Brown Ale.

The comic commercial shows the 'Perfect Pitch' actress ranting about the sports event. The commercial starts with a message: "Behind the scenes of the mega-huge football game that Newcastle Brown Ale almost made...which almost starred Anna Kendrick."

And unlike beer or ale commercials with smoking hot babes, this one showed the 22-year-old actress sitting in the make-up department, ranting about the project's minor problem.

"Turns out they don't even have the money or the permission to make a Super Bowl commercial," she said. And since Newcastle did not "have the permission," the words "Super Bowl" were bleeped every time it is said on screen.

She also came to terms with the idea that she is not a beer-commercial-babe material, saying, "I mean, I'm hot. Like approachable hot, like the-hottest-girl-in-your-improv class hot. Like hot to the kind of guys who, like, feel bad calling a girl hot. But like beer-commercial hot? Am I beer-commercial hot? No, but I love a challenge."

Kendrick took the commercial to Twitter on Wednesday, telling her fans that, "Newcastle paid me to tweet about an ad they didn't make. It's weird time people."

According to Time, the video with Kendrick is actually part of a series of web videos from Newcastle Brown Ale, documenting commercials they didn't make for the Super Bowl because they "couldn't afford them."

As for Kendrick, she sat down with E! News, telling them about the premise of the ad, as well as her character in it. She told them, "I get to play this super-bitchy version of myself. They basically let me improv a lot and I didn't know how much I could curse. I kind of went a little psycho."
