Daniel Craig is in early negotiations to star in "The Whole Truth."

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the British actor is attached to star in the film, which is shopping for financiers and foreign sales agents on the eve of Berlin's European Film Market. The project has also been boarded by Film Nation, which will shop it to foreign buyers in Berlin.

The film currently has Nicholas Kazan ("Enough") signed on to write the script but no details on the plot have been immediately known.

Craig recently ended his Broadway run in "Betrayal" and was last seen in "Skyfall," which grossed $1.1 billion at the global box office, including $804.2 million internationally. The film was also nominated for a number of Academy Awards and won two. Craig was also seen in "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and "Dream House." Craig also voiced a character in "The Adventures of Tintin" and also played a role in "Cowboys & Aliens." Craig has also been seen in "Road to Perdition," "Sylvia," "Layer Cake" and "The Jacket."

"The Whole Truth" does not have a shooting period and therefore it is not clear whether the film will be shot before or after Craig begins filming "Bond 24" for director Sam Mendes. "Bond 24" will open in theaters on Nov. 6, 2015.

Meanwhile, FilmNation's Berlin slate also includes J.C Chandor's "A Most Violent Year." The Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain film is set to start shooting this month and will be released by A24 at the end of the year.
