Popping a day earlier than its scheduled release date is the new Miley Cyrus music video, "Adore You". The controversial star was clad in sheer underwear and writhing under the sheets, and getting hot in the bathtub.

In a description by Rolling Stone, "The suggestive clip finds Cyrus singing her devotional ballad while writhing beneath the covers, clad in just skin-colored undergarments as she simulates masturbation. The scene eventually switches to a bath and her outfit to skimpy black lace."

The video disappeared as quickly though, but according to CNN it was reposted again on Thursday, during its original release date.

"Adore You" is the third single from Cyrus' "Bangerz" album.

The premature release incited a reaction from Cyrus, but the star did not seem all that upset.  She tweeted, "We all know Smilers would break another record if it wasn't for the **** face who leaked my video. Alllllll good! Keep smiling :),"

The video is another one of the headline-grabbing things the star has been dong to shed her image as Disney's Hannah Montana and become the "sexually provocative, marijuana-smoking bad girl of pop music," according to TVNZ

The "Bangerz" star also tweeted about the leak, "Some dick leaked my video please only watch the official video #adoreyou"

This tweet was in reference to Miley's intention to break the record of her single, "Wrecking Ball," which was the quickest to hit 100 million views on Vevo.

CNN also noted the possibility of the new video inspiring parodies the way its predecessor did when it showed a naked Cyrus clad only in a pair of boots, riding a wrecking ball and licking a sledgehammer.

Cyrus will have a big year ahead of her, as she will perform in Times Square at New Year's Eve for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, and will hit the road for a "Bangerz" tour kicking off in February, with 38-date arena tours to perform to.
