In her documentary "In Your Dreams," legendary star Stevie Nicks shared the story of her lack of acting talent, admitting that the last time she acted was when she was in fourth grade, and that she was so bad that she swore off acting forever.
But it's a "never say never" case, because just recently, she appeared on the tenth episode of American Horror Story: Coven.
That's not all: In a recent interview with producer Ryan Murphy, he revealed that it wasn't the last of Nicks in the series, as she is set to be back for another episode. According to Rolling Stone, "Her appearance (as herself) went well enough that the producers asked her to extend her time on location in New Orleans; she stayed for most of the week before Thanksgiving, working in the show's custom-built house."
Nicks also told Access Hollywod that guest starring in AHS is "the most interesting thing" that she has ever done.
In the interview, Nicks also dished that she was "horrified and terrified and scared because it's such a scary thing." She also added that she was "really terrified and scared because I was reading it at Saturday night at two or three in the morning and I was supposed to go in there on Monday and have some idea of what [the script] had said."
AHS was not the first of the singer's work with Murphy, as they previously worked together in the hit musical series, Glee.
For her appearance on AHS, however, Stevie pitched an idea of a cameo of herself, and it was Ryan who expanded on her idea.
Nicks recalled a phone call with Murphy, wherein she said, "If you want me to just do a walk-thru, I can wear a really long black dress and look stunningly tall and fantastic." She continued, "The next thing I know, I'm going to New Orleans."
As to her acting in a horror series, Nicks told Rolling Stones, "I don't want to be bad at anything that I do that people see. If I try to learn to skate and I'm terrible, nobody's going to know about it. But it was really fun. I now belong to a very secret society. And you'll be surprised - not with my terrific acting, but with the whole thing."
