Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth Dating Again? Actor 'Misses' Singer after Breakup; Reunion More Likely

There were the alleged late night calls, the confessional love letter, and the skimpy clothing meant to show what the other is missing - all courtesy of Miley Cyrus, in her bid to reach out to her former fiancé and patch things up. 

However, former lover Liam Hemsworth responded with a rebound fling and logging more family time (he was seen supporting brother Chris Hemsworth on the red carpet of the Thor 2 premiere), seemingly oblivious to the controversial Hannah Montana star's overtures. 

Until now - or so what Us Weekly alleges. 

A source reportedly told the publication that Liam "pushed to get back in touch" with Miley around two months after their split in September.  

"He still has feelings. The attraction hasn't gone away," revealed the source. "He's telling friends he misses her." 

On top of that, the on-and-off showbiz couple are said to be currently trading "flirty texts." The Australian actor also managed to offer moral support to the singer in the aftermath of the November 22 heist, which saw her losing $100,000 in designer accessories and jewelry. 

Surprisingly, the former Disney star is said to be unready to reunite with her The Last Song co-star and former real-life leading man, reports the Daily Mail. Miley is reportedly still "confused" about her feelings for the actor. 

It can be recalled that Liam was making his single status known via an interview with Extra last month. He dated Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez briefly before splitting over reports that the Latina was tipping off photographers on their public jaunts. 

Notably, should there be a reunion between Liam and Miley, it may not be anytime soon - both keep a very busy schedule. The singer is set to go on a 38-city tour next year for her Bangerz studio release, which will see her out of L.A. for months on end. Meanwhile, Liam will be shooting parts 1 and 2 of the third Hunger Games installment in the next couple of months.
