They've been through a roller coaster ride on the love train for the past year, but in recent months, two of contemporary music's lovebirds have finally decided they're confident enough to publicly celebrate their love and proclaim it to the whole world - with a song.

"'Who You Love' is here. Proud of this song, proud of this artwork, proud of this girl. - JM," tweeted John Mayer, who released the cover art of his latest single off his album Paradise Valley just this week. "Who You Love" is the third single from the musician's sixth studio release.

Katy Perry, who partnered with Mayer for the acoustic-fueled duet, was reported by Yahoo! Music as saying that the song isn't just a romantic ballad - it's also reflective of other types of relationships, like the mother-and-daughter kind. Will we be hearing her sing this song with her own worship-leading parents? But more importantly, where can we download this Mayer-Perry collaboration?

If you want to hear the song online, go over to Mayer's SoundCloud to listen to the track. You can leave comments if you have an account on the site and let your thoughts be known to the man himself.

To own a copy of the single itself, visit iTunes to purchase the 4-minute, 12-second long song for $1.29. Customer ratings on the site have averaged 4.5 stars, based on 81 reviews - promising figures that are seen to rise more in the coming weeks judging by the reception. If you can't get enough of Mayer's cool rhythms, mellow vocals, and laid-back musical instrumentations, you can buy the whole album on the same site as well.

The single is also available on Amazon, which allows you a free listen of a clip from the duet before you buy the full MP3 version.
