To promote her latest album, "Artpop," in Japan, Lady Gaga presented two full-sized dolls based on her at a press conference.

According to Europa Press, the pop diva was in Japan for the weekend where her label, Universal Music, decided to complete their marketing campaign for Gaga's third studio album with impressive dolls.

During a press conference in Tokyo on Sunday, Dec. 1, the artist presented the first two versions of the doll, made out of silicone and with a set of clothes as eccentric as the real singer.

Mexican newspaper Excélsior confirmed that the replicas have a mechanism that allows the consumer to listen to music and messages from Lady Gaga by approaching the doll's breast.

Days before, the singer had shown a picture of her along with two of the dolls with the following message:

Who needs barbies when you can own your own life size pop star that sings to you #gagadollz pic.twitter.com/OE0Cx7DUGp

Besides the picture, the singer uploaded a video to social networks showing the building process of the dolls.

Despite Gaga's followers being more than ready to spend huge sums of money for one of the dolls, so far there's no news if the dolls will go on sale; this could just be another of the singer's eccentricities.

According to Excélsior, Lady Gaga is participating in a charity auction to help the victims of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, where a Hello Kitty with a Gaga dress will be auctioned off.
