Spanish singer Miguel Bosé announced that he has decided to take a sabbatical year from the stage, since he wants to fully dedicate himself to take care of his children: Diego, Tadeo, Ivo and Telmo.

According to People en Español, Bosé, who just finished the world tour of his album Papitwo, offered his last two concerts, first at the Latin Grammy Awards ceremony in Las Vegas last November 21, and finally in the IV Gala Against AIDS in Barcelona on Monday 25th.

In an interview granted to Spanish TV channel TV3 quoted by People, the popular songwriter said that this parenthesis in his professional career, which has stood out from the beginning for his constant stage presence, is temporary and in 2015 he'll continue performing concerts for the enjoyment of his fans.

"I won't come back to the stage until 2105, so now I'll dedicate myself to my little ones", Bosé told the Spanish channel, quoted by People.

Since early this year, the Spanish singer has said that his career has kept him from enjoying his role as a father.

"My children changed my life and my schedule. I don't work the same way anymore. Before, I'd go out for two or three months, but now I'm coming and going all the time. It hasn't been good, honestly", he recently said in an interview quoted by La Opinión.

In the past, Miguel Bosé had already shown how important being close to his family is to him. In 2012, during his participation as a judge for The Voice Mexico, the popular star travelled with his four children and their nannies to be together with them all the time in the North American country.

The pause in his career means a tough challenge for the fans of the Spanish singer, who are used to never-ending tours and performances by the acclaimed artist.
