One of Apple's latest smartphones is expected to see a slip in its sales during the fourth quarter of 2013.
According to TrendForce, the fourth quarter shipments for the iPhone 5c have been projected to account for 24 percent of the total iPhones shipped. TrendForce noted the 24 percent comes after an adjusted volume of 11 million units down.

Projections for the iPhone 5s are forecasted to increase higher than originally expected. The iPhone 5s models are likely to represent approximately 70 percent of all iPhones shipped during the fourth quarter this year.
TrendForce added that total figure of iPhones shipped during the fourth quarter of 2013 are forecasted to increase by 2.2 percent compared to last year, which would bring the total to 46 million units.
As Latinos Post reported, Apple sold 33.8 million iPhone units during the recent third quarter this year.
According to a report by Localytics, the iPhone 5c accounted for 1.7 percent of the global iPhone share, which is about half of the 3.8 percent the iPhone 5s received. Localytics based the percentage on more than 40 million unique iPhone devices running on software by the analytical firm. The iPhone 5 held first place with 39.8 percentage points ahead of the 32.9 percent for the iPhone 4s. The iPhone 4 placed third with 20.2 percent.
Apple confirmed 9 million units of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c were sold during its first weekend on Sept. 20. The Cupertino-based organization didn't reveal specific numbers for the iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c. The 9 million units for both phones were 4 million units more than the first-weekend sales of the iPhone 5 in September 2012, which sold 5 million units.
