Mexican singer Belinda decided to explore a new style in her new music video. The artist, who is often considered a fashion icon in the Latin music industry, goes goth in the clip for her song "Sueño de Ti" featuring Motel bandmates, Rodrigo and Billy. The video is expected to be released sometime in November.

In the video, Belinda will appear wearing a black crown created by acclaimed designer Assaad Awad, who has worked with Pop superstars like Madonna and Lady Gaga, Latin Times reported.

Awad's creation is definitely what helps Belinda nail the gothic look for her video. "We looked for a more gothic and Byzantine look, that shows off we are proposing new ideas," the singer told Mexico's Reforma. "I love being different and it doesn't matter how much of a risk it is. When you do something different, not only are you being fearless, you are taking that fear away from others as well."

In the music clip, Belinda once again uses religious symbols, like she did in her last video, where the "En la Oscuridad" singer used sacred images for Mexico's Catholics, like the Virgin of Guadalupe.

This time, Belinda uses jewelry designed by Dolce & Gabanna and inspired by Agatha of Sicily. "We have the latest collection of dresses by the same label, that is spectacular with images of saints. We are mixing religion with everything," said Belinda. "I love the designs by Dolce, that they actually used in a Katy Perry event a couple days ago."

The singer sure knows how to get the attention from her fans and the press. Back in August, she posted a shocking picture of herself on her Twitter account this week, in which she appears covered in bruises and blood, as if she had suffered an accident. "I've been through the worst accident imaginable, but I'm alive. Thank you life," Belinda captioned the picture. She later had to explain that the bruises were done by a makeup artist and that she had shared the picture to promote her upcoming tour, Catarsis.
