Bray Wyatt may be out of action for four weeks after suffering a calf muscle injury at a house show in Rhode Island earlier in the week. Wyatt left the arena in crutches and was later diagnosed with the deep bruise that may keep out of action for the October 27th Hell In A Cell pay-per-view.
WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee suffered a concussion during her title match at Battleground against Brie Bella after hitting her head on the turnbuckle and had difficulty remembering her match. AJ has been evaluated and passed her imPACT test - a procedure which tests for her reaction time, memory, and brain processing in order to see if they are suffering from lingering effects of a concussion - and given the go-ahead sign this past Monday, participating in the Tamina-Brie Bella match.
Colt Cabana - formerly of Ring of Honor (ROH) as well as his seven-match Seven Levels of Hate series against Adam Pearce in the independent scene - told Stone Cold Steve Austin he is getting a WWE tryout later this year. Cabana, who was on guest on Austin's podcast, previously worked doing commentary for the WWE's FCW farm system before being released in 2009. Cabana was recently prominently featured in CM Punk's Best in the World DVD.
Wade Barrett has been out of action due to visa issues and hopes to be back in action soon. He told the Lancashire Evening Post, "I was supposed to be back in the States two weeks ago and I think the Night of Champions pay-per-view I was supposed to be away for, but I also missed Battleground. It's very difficult for me to do anything at the moment, being without a passport. Fingers crossed it gets cleared up in the next few days."
WWE is planning to hold The Big Show against Triple H at the Survivor Series pay-per-view, with Bray Wyatt versus The Miz also being planned for the November PPV. The Wyatt-Miz match was pushed back from Hell In A Cell to Survivor Series due to Wyatt's calf injury, according to PWinsider.com.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has signed on to do the Hollywood disaster 3D movie, San Andreas, with Johnson playing a father trekking across California looking for his estranged daughter after a massive quake destroys the state, according to Variety. The Rock is currently filming Hercules, directed by Brett Ratner, and is scheduled to start shooting for Fast & Furious 7 in Atlanta later in the year.
Batista also recently Tweeted, that he is done filming the Hollywood movie Guardians of the Galaxy. Batista plays alien warrior Drax the Destroyer in the movie based on the Marvel comic book.
Hulk Hogan remains a free agent, having yet to re-sign with TNA, with the WWE interested in bring the wrestling icon back in time for Wrestlemania 30. Hogan was rumored to been have disappointed with the WWE's initial offer and headed back to TNA but has yet to sign a contract. The Wrestling Observer reported that the WWE is interested in signing Sting, who is a free agent at the end of the year, for Wrestlemania 30.
