Call of Duty: Ghosts could be one of the best games in the series, and developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision are preparing to give fans of the series an experience unlike any other when the game is released on current and next-gen consoles. For those interested in the PC version, IGN has released the required specs needed for the ambitious game, and PC owners may need to prepare their computers to handle the amount of power and space the game will need.

Perhaps one of the biggest requirements of the game is the space it demands and the amount of RAM a PC user needs to properly run Call of Duty: Ghosts. The game will require 50GB of storage on the PC, with users needing 6GB of RAM or more to make sure the game will run smoothly.

In addition to the large amount of memory needed for the game, a critical component for the PC version of the game is the user's graphics card. Call of Duty: Ghosts will work with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti / ATI Radeon HD 5870 or better, but it is recommend that players use a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 graphics card in order to get the full experience while playing through the game.

According to IGN, players are recommended to use an Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 running at 2.66 GHZ or an AMD Phenom X3 8750 running at 2.4 GHZ or better in order to play the game as intended.

Players are also recommended to use Windows 7 or 8 to play the game. An Internet connection will be required if players want to play the multiplayer portion of Call of Duty: Ghosts. A DirectX Compatible Sound Card is needed for the game's music and sound effects, with DirectX version 11 being to required version of the software.

Call of Duty: Ghosts looks impressive both on current and next-gen consoles, and PC users may need to upgrade their rigs if they wish to have a comparable experience. But if PC users do indeed have the technical capacity to play the game on higher settings they may get the best version of the game out of all the platforms available.
