Now that the casting storm has come to an end, fans can finally hunker down and prepare for the upcoming “50 Shades of Grey” film. Before producers chose Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson to play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, it was impossible to piece together a complete image of the movie in your head. There were too many moving parts. Between the countless actors and actresses that were rumored to snag the coveted roles, the possible pairings were infinite. There was never any clear victor in sight, thus proper foreshadowing deemed impossible. But now that there are two beautiful beaming faces attached to the project, our daydreams become crystal clear. The most grueling leg of the race is over. From here on out it’s smooth sailing to the finish line. And lucky for fans, plenty of juicy production details will help keep them nourished along the way.

All eyes are on Charlie Hunnam. Although fans may have been confused and angry with the initial casting decision, most have turned over a new leaf. The “Sons of Anarchy” bad boy has the look and the confident demeanor to take on the sultry role with style and grace. But with every blessing comes a sacrifice.

Hunnam has yet to shoot a single scene as Mr. Grey in the “50 Shades” movie, yet he’s already been forced to beef up security to keep thousands of screaming girls, “50 Shades” books in hand, from devouring him alive. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal, not FX, hired extra security for Hunnam during the “Sons of Anarchy” premiere. Although his greatest threat is a mob of young teens with braces and pigtails, it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

After all the frustration, broken hearts and disparagement, it would be pandemonium if Universal were to lose Hunnam. Another Christian Grey casting call? Oh God, please no.
