England will look to take over first place in Group H when it takes on Ukraine in a pivotal World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.

With 15 points in seven games, the Three Lions are in a tie with Montenegro for the top spot in the group. However, Montenegro has a game in hand and with a win, England would have sole possession of first place in the group.

England started its tournament with a 5-0 win over Moldova and a 1-1 draw with the Ukraine at home. The team then trounced San Marino 5-0 before drawing 1-1 with Poland. An 8-0 win over San Marino was followed by yet another 1-1 draw, this time with Montenegro. In their most recent game, England took down Moldova 4-0 in London.

This game is pivotal because a loss by England would give Ukraine complete control over first place. Ukraine has 14 points and has only played seven games. The team started off slow in qualifiers but has been terrific lately. They started with a 1-1 draw against England and a 0-0 draw against Moldova. A 1-0 loss to Montenegro followed, but the Ukraine regained ground with a 3-1 win over Poland. The winning streak continued with a 2-1 victory over Moldova and a 4-0 win over Montenegro in June. However, in their most recent game Ukraine destroyed San Marino 9-0.

Prediction: Ukraine shocks England with a 1-0 win.
