Poland will look to salvage its World Cup campaign when it takes on San Marino in the qualifiers on Tuesday.

Poland currently sits in fourth place in Group H. England and Montenegro are in first with 15 points, while the Ukraine is just one point behind with 14. Poland has 10 and needs a lot of help to have any hope of qualifying.

The Poles have put together two wins, four draws, and one loss in qualifying, but have struggled to string victories together. The team opened with a 2-2 draw against Montenegro before winning 2-0 against Moldova. In their third game, the team drew 1-1 with England before losing 3-1 against the Ukraine. A 5-0 win over San Marino followed but the team wound up drawing 1-1 with Moldova in its following game. In its most recent match, Poland drew 1-1 with Montenegro thanks to a goal from Robert Lewandowski.

San Marino is the perfect team for Poland to play as it is almost guarantees points. San Marino has not only failed to register a single point thus far, but the small nation has not even scored a single goal in seven qualifiers. A look at the team's losses describes how futile their efforts qualifying have been. A 6-0 loss to Montenegro was the first game; England followed it with a 5-0 win over San Marino. Moldova only managed two late goals in a 2-0 win, while Montenegro followed with a 3-0 victory. England then lit up San Marino for eight goals in an 8-0 result before Poland followed with a 5-0 victory. The embarrassment reached its height in a 9-0 loss to the Ukraine on Friday.

Prediction: Poland wins 6-0.
