Actors Gabriel Soto and Geraldine Bazan are expecting the arrival of their second child, according to People, the couple confirmed the news via Twitter on Monday August 26.

The actress told Fórmula Espectacular, "We are happy, excited, thrilled, what can I say. I have 14 weeks of pregnancy. I got pregnant after leaving the show "La Isla", it was planned, I had no symptoms or aches. It went good, I didn't have morning sickness or dizziness, It has been quite good. Now there are more complicated things to take care of."

Meanwhile, Gabriel Soto released a statement on his Twitter account @gabrielsotofans: "We are extremely happy to share with each of you the great joy of expecting a second child, Elissa's first brother which make us very excited. To end speculations, we want to make clear that we are and have been a couple, a family, and soon to formalize marriage. We appreciate your support, understanding and respect for our family in this phase of joy and love that we are living through."

A few days ago, actor Gabriel Soto denied to People the wedding plans rumors, but after this, the actor himself explained what the arrival of a new member of his family meant to him as well as to her daughter Elissa who "is thrilled with the idea of being a big sister, a little rebellious, but I think it's normal, she doesn't even know why. But actually she is good, waiting and counting the days (she asked me) how many days are left, it's been so many days, why can't I have the baby already...she is in despair sometimes but very happy."

Soto also thanked his partner Geraldine Bazan for being with him at all times after it was unveiled that he needed urgent surgery as a result of a perforated gastric ulcer. According to TvNotas, it was in early August when the actor had to undergo surgery while the actress also took care of Don Francisco, Soto's father.

The showbiz magazine also shared that a source confirmed that their wedding would possibly be early 2014. The actor finally shared, "also, every day I would like to be a better couple, father and man. Of course I would love to get married, fulfill myself with my family, support them, even to have more children."
