Barcelona and Atletico Madrid face off in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup on Wednesday.

Both teams battled to a 1-1 draw in the opening leg with David Villa scoring for Los Colchoneros and Neymar tying the score for Blaugrana. Barcelona holds the away goal advantage and could afford to play for a draw. However, Atletico coach Diego Simeone believes that the game is wide open.

"The tie is wide open but, playing at home and with their characteristics, they'll take the lead role," he said according to Goal.com.

Simeone also said he hopes to see Lionel Messi and Neymar play together throughout the match.

"I hope Messi and Neymar both play, for the good of the spectacle, but they have a lot of good players and it's the coach who will decide," he said.

Neither has played together in the campaign for a number of reasons. Messi was injured in the opening leg of the Super Cup and Neymar has not made a single appearance in the first half this season. However, recent reports indicate that Messi should be good to go.

"The Argentine star has been given the nod by Barcelona's medical staff to face Atletico Madrid in the second leg," reported Goal.com.

As for Neymar, the coaching staff has noted that it plans to ease the Brazilian into the starting XI.

"I don't know how much time is left," Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino said, according to Sport Live. "What I do believe is that mentally he is ready and we will decide on the right moment."

"The good thing is that he plays half an hour and in that half an hour he always does something positive for the team," he added.

Prediction: Atletico silences the Camp Nou with a 1-0 win.
