Microsoft has released a slew of information concerning the Xbox One and the lineup of games that will be available at launch and soon afterwards, and now we bring you the highlights of those announcements from Gamescom 2013.

Microsoft revealed that two big third party games will have exclusive content for the Xbox One. FIFA 14 will have Ultimate Team Legends, an expansion of the popular Ultimate Team mode from the series. This will add some of the best and most popular soccer stars of all time, such as Pele, into the game alongside modern stars.

While it may not be a launch title, Microsoft revealed that Tom Clancy's The Division will also have exclusive Xbox One content, though what exactly the content will be was not discussed by Microsoft or the game's developer Ubisoft.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will have the red carpet rolled out for it on the Xbox One, as Microsoft clearly wants its platform to have the best Call of Duty experience compared to the PlayStation 3/4 and PC. Microsoft will host a dedicated server for the game, as opposed to having players host the game. In addition, a Xbox One/Call of Duty: Ghosts bundle was announced for Europe with exclusive content.

Killer Instinct will offer players several different options for Xbox One users. For $20, players can buy the basic Killer Instinct package of eight characters (though only six will be available at launch). However, for $40 players can buy the deluxe version of the game with additional skins for all eight characters as well as the original Killer Instinct game. Also, the game will have additional characters added to the game in 2014 as part of a so-called Season Two DLC for the title..

Fable will be returning to the Microsoft fold with a new game, entitled Fable Legends. The game will take place 400 years before the events of the first Fable, but even more surprising is that the game will have four player co-op. In addition, a fifth player will take the role of a Dungeon Master-type, who puts enemies and traps in the path of the player in a top-down perspective. However, Fable fans will have to wait quite a while before getting their hands on Fable Legends, as the game will see release far after the Xbox One.

Microsoft appears to be going all out with Xbox One hype, but has not announced a release date yet for the console. It will be interesting to see how Sony responds to this strong showing off exclusive games and content.
