'The Vampire Diaries' Season 5 Spoilers: Rebekah and Matt Get Hot and Heavy With Mysterious Russian Beauty

For the nightcrawlers who scour the night streets, fangs glinting in the moon, thirsty for blood, you will soon get your fix. Come October, "The Vampire Diaries" will return with full force. Many of the world's favorite vampires will be exploring life at Whitmore College while others stay in Mystic Falls to deal with their own affairs. The separation will cause trouble for some, in particular Elena and Damon, who will be working through their rekindled relationship. There will be new opportunities for love, lust and treachery, commonplace for any college experience.

But those vampires stuck statesside won't be the only ones caught up in new explorative situations. At the end of season 4, Rebekah and Matt planned to embark on a European tour over the summer before locking lips. It became apparent that the pair would be stripping down during their trip, but no one expected this.

Executive producer Julie Plec recently opened up to MTV about the couple's trip abroad and how they will be joined by a "mysterious" Russian beauty named Nadia for a rather raunchy night in their bedroom. The others are all at college, so why can't Matt and Rebekah have some fun as well? It's only fair.

"We get to see a nice little moment, in quotes - define it as you like - where Rebekah and Matt are living life to its fullest in Prague." The scene will come during a flashback episode as the two look back on their summer. Unfortunately, their relationship won't last, despite the door-opening experience.

"Matt promised Rebekah at the end of the season that what happens on the road stays on the road," Plec said. "So they get a great experience and a great adventure, and then when all is said and done and they part, it's very sweet and a nice button to the time that they had together."

Not only that, but Plec informed fans that Nadia will find her way to Mystic Falls with her own mysterious agenda. It's there that she's likely to run into Matt and/or Rebekah and trigger the flashback. But what will her agenda be? Fans will have to wait and see.
