The lyrics to a track off the latest Lady Gaga album, "ARTPOP," have been leaked to the public. Gaga is back from her long hiatus to assume the latest reinvention of herself, a stripped-down, post modern art-inspired Gaga, complete with all of her trademark eccentricities. The "ARTPOP" album is supposed to represent the intersection of art and music, and will be released in November with an accompanying "ARTPOP" app.

The album has some straightforward songs, i.e., "Applause," seemingly about Gaga's love of fan adoration, and some very arcane ones, like her latest leaked track, "Aura," also known as "Burqa." The song has a frantic beat with a distinctly Middle Eastern sound.

In true Gaga fashion, the song has already stirred up controversy. In the song, Gaga refers to the burqa as a metaphor for hiding her true self from the public eye, simply because she wants to. Gaga refers to the burqa, an already controversial topic, as a fashion statement instead of a garment couched in a great deal of cultural and religious significance and disputation. Some insist that Gaga is ill-informed about the Burqa, a traditional garment worn by Muslim women that covers up the entire body except the eyes.

Pop Dust reports that in the song, Gaga says she "killed her poor friend" and left her dead in the trunk of a car on Highway 10, a highway that stretches from Los Angeles to Jacksonville, Florida. She then says to send the murder weapon "straight to Hollywood." The lyrics could suggest that it is a metaphor for Hollywood "killing" Gaga, which is the possible reason for her prolonged hiatus.

After a break in the song with Gaga belting some "ahs," she returns with the line that she is not a wondering slave; she is a "woman of choice." This contrasts with the first verse, illustrating Gaga's resilience and her refusal to let Hollywood rob her of her passion and purpose. The third verse signals Gaga's desire to show her true self to her fans instead of hiding behind pounds of costume and gallons of make-up.

Yet, the next verse, in which Gaga says "enigma pop star is fun," signifies that Gaga may not actually have been hiding behind costumes due to the harsh spotlight of Hollywood. The verse hints that she may have gone into seclusion because she simply wanted to. She controversially states that "she wear burqa for fashion," possibly a metaphor that she wears ostentatious ensembles that cover her up purely for fun.

The full album will be released on Nov. 11.

See the lyrics below as well as the video of the full song.

I killed my former friend
Left her in the trunk on highway 10
Put the knife under the hood. If you find it
Send it straight to Hollywood

Hahahaha Hahahaha Hahahaha
Aura-a-a-a Aura-a-a-a

I'm not a wandering slave I am a woman of choice
My veil is protection for the gorgeousness of my face
You want to fancy me cause there's always one man to love
But in the bedroom the size of them's more than enough

Do you wanna see me naked, lover?
Do you wanna peak underneath the cover?
Do you wanna see the girl who lives behind the aura, behind the aura?
Do you wanna touch me, cosmic lover
Do you wanna be the peak underneath the cover?
Do you wanna see the girl who lives behind the aura
Behind the aura, behind the aura, behind the aura

Enigma popstar is fun, she wear burqa for fashion
It's not a statement as much as just a move of passion
I may not walk on your street or shoot a gun on your soil
I hear you screaming, is it because of pleasure or toil?

Dance, Sex, ARTPOP
Dance, Sex, ARTPOP

Do you wanna see me naked, lover?
Do you wanna peak underneath the cover?
Do you wanna see the girl who lives behind the aura, behind the aura?
Do you wanna touch me, cosmic lover
Do you wanna be the peak underneath the cover?
Do you wanna see the girl who lives behind the aura
Behind the aura, behind the aura, behind the aura

Behind the aura, behind the curtain, behind the burqa
