Miley Cyrus 'We Can't Stop' Lyrics Exposed: Singer Admits to Singing About Molly

Nor can she shake the Disney persona that she's so eager to get rid of. She's made plenty of valid attempts, but first impressions stick. Between the tattoos, revealing tweets and incriminating lyrics, she's proven that she's no longer little Hannah, but that doesn't seem to matter. Fans and critics will never stop comparing her to her former self, a goodie two shoes with the world at her fingertips. Her most recent single "We Can't Stop" became an instant classic despite its raw themes and suggestive music video, but that didn't stop listeners to read further into her lyrics, desperately trying to uncover the singer's darkest and most scandalous secrets. So naturally, she responded.

In a recent interview, Miley Cyrus talked about the controversial line from her recent hit, "We Can't Stop." The song's producer first claimed that the lyric was "dancing with Miley," not "dancing with molly," a direct and obvious drug reference. Cyrus, however, has now exposed the truth, stating that she is indeed singing about MDMA. How about that, Disney?

"It depends on who's doing what. If you're aged ten [the lyric is] Miley, if you know what I'm talking about then you know," Cyrus told Daily Mail. "I just wanted it to be played on the radio and they've already had to edit it so much. I don't think people have a hard time understanding that I've grown up. You can Google me and you know what I'm up to - you know what that lyric is saying."

As she carried on about how sheltered and innocent the world is, she slams critics who say her "We Can't Stop" video is too racy, when in reality, it's not. Compared to her former Hannah Montana days, sure, she's grown up. But compared to many other music videos that now make their way to YouTube and Vevo, it's nothing.

"I just think the world is so lame because you can shoot people in a movie and you can let people like [George] Zimmerman off on trial but you can't have someone going like this [she simulates oral sex gesture], that is so dumb to me," Cyrus said. "The world is such a f--ked up place the last thing people need to worry about is my cute little video for 'We Can't Stop,' you know what I mean?"

Cyrus's follow up single to "We Can't Stop" will debut on August 26 and is titled "23." If the singer continues to follow her recent trend, fans can't even begin to fathom what's in store.
