It's been officially confirmed that Eminem's new album is dropping in 2013. As the days and months of this year keep on keepin' on, hype surrounding the hip hop superstar is getting hot, hot, hot!

From the Skylar Grey album dropped this month - executive produced by Marshall Mathers himself, to the rapper's upcoming European tour dates, to a leaked track list for his new album, to rumors regarding the album name, Em is everywhere.

Rumors are colliding all over the Internet over the name of the highly anticipated album that's set to drop in the coming months (finally!). According to the buzz, it's between "Redemption" and "NiNe," with compelling evidence out there backing up both options.

Supporting evidence behind the title "NiNe" comes from a recent tweet by a man who goes by the name of Mr. Porter. A.K.A. Denaun Porter, this rapper and former D-12 member is one of Eminem's friends as well as producers.

In the aforementioned tweet, Porter answered a question from a fan asking if he could at least give up the name of the new album, to which Porter replied "Yes it's called NiNe."

However, it should be noted that Eminem's name is not specifically referenced in the tweet, so "NiNe" could arguably be the new album name for any number of rappers.

In the opposing album title rumor corner, we have "Redemption." This alternative album name option surfaces in response to an image of an Eminem album cover, tiled "Redemption," which has gone viral recently. According to a report from Christian Post, the image might be a fake, but fans should take note that the title and image align perfectly with Em's last two albums.

Album title controversy aside, the real Slim Shady is really set to embark on a tour with Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, the Creator, as confirmed on his official website. Is the tour to promote Em's new album? Probably. Either way, here are the dates and countries where the shows are slated to go down: Belgium on August 15, Ireland on August 17, the UK on August 20, France on August 22, the UK (again) on August 24 and the UK (one more time) on August 25. Tickets are available online now.

And on to the next piece of album news. Website gnli.com recently leaked what it alleges is the track list for the upcoming record. Authenticity is up for debate, but to as a cure for any curiosity that might linger, here's a rundown on what the site refers to as "Eminem's 8th Studio Album Tracklist," the album alleged to be titled Redemption:

And to wrap up this Eminem news brief, here are just a couple of other things that the lyrical genius has been/will be up to as of late:

- Eminem is scheduled to perform on August 7 at the G-Shock 30th anniversary party, where he is supposed to be previewing songs from the new album.

- Em comes clean about his past battles with drug addiction on a documentary recently released called "How To Make Money Selling Drugs." No holds barred, Eminem talks about the time he spent hooked on prescription drugs, how close his addiction came to killing him when he was hospitalized due to a near-fatal overdose and how he exercised those demons for good, for the sake of his kids and his own future.

- Skylar Grey's new album Don't Look Down dropped this month, which Eminem executive produced. He also collaborated with Grey on a track for her album called "C'mon Let Me Ride." He makes a cameo in the video, which you can check out here:
