The cast of "Revenge" is beefing up this week with another two interesting guest stars. TVLine is reporting that the Portuguese actor Diogo Morgado, who played Jesus Christ in the History Channel's miniseries "The Bible," will be appearing in the drama's season three premiere.

According to TVLine, Morgado will take up the role of Dr. Jorge Velez, who is described as a "distinguished and handsome doctor." The 32-year-old actor, who became known in the U.S. after his role in the popular miniseries, has a long record of TV roles in his native Portugal.

Morgado is just the latest star tapped for the upcoming third season of the ABC drama. Earlier this week, TVLine also reported that French-Canadian actress Karine Vanasse was cast as Margaux, a French businesswoman who shares a past with Daniel (Joshua Bowman). Margaux will reportedly be in the Hamptons to start a magazine. According to TVLine, the actress will appear for a multi-episode arc this fall.

Of course the biggest casting news to come out of the "Revenge" writers' room is that of Justin Hartley, who nabbed the role of the mysterious estranged son of Victoria (Madeleine Stowe). The "Emily Owens M.D." vet will play the pivotal role of Patrick in a multi-episode arc starting the season premiere.

E! Online reported that little is known about Patrick, except that he was abandoned shortly after he was born by a teenage Victoria so she could head to Paris for art school. When he later tried to look for her, Victoria paid him $5 million to stay away.

"Revenge" left fans with two bombshells in the season two finale this spring. Jack (Nick Wechsler) received a bombshell confession from Emily (Emily VanCamp), while Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) met with her long-lost son. The upcoming season will include a five month time jump.

"Revenge" season three will premiere on Sunday, September 29 at 9 p.m.
