The United States and Cuba will face off in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Group C on Saturday.

The Americans are coming off a dominant 6-1 win against Belize that featured a first-half hat trick from Chris Wondolowski.

"He's very much instinctive," said USA forward Herculez Gomez about Wondolowski, according to Fox Sports. "He has that nose for where to go and has that feel for the game. But he's also always looking for that space and he's very savvy in the box. Trust me, things don't just happen for him; he creates it."

"Wondo realizes: 'Every minute I'm on the field I have an opportunity so I had better take it,'" added USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann. "He builds his own case."

The team will take on a Cuban side that opened the tournament with a 3-0 loss against Costa Rica.

If the USA wins this game and Costa Rica wins its match against Belize (which is a highly likely outcome) then the Americans would clinch a spot in the knockout rounds; if Costa Rica draws against Belize and the Americans win, a spot in the knockout stages would also be secure for the US.

The teams have met nine times in their history with the Americans winning the last seven; Cuba has won once and drawn once.  The clubs last met on Oct. 11. 2008 and the Americans pulled off a 6-1 victory.

Prediction:  The United States has the upper hand in this match and should have no difficulty pulling off a blowout win. Expect a 3-0 victory for the Americans.
