Costa Rica will look to win its opening group match against Cuba on Wednesday in the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2013.

With Belize and the United States as the other group contestants, Costa Rica enters the tournament with a huge chance to get out of the group stage. However, the team knows it has a lot of work to do.

"You have to fight for it. Our goal is to achieve top rankings, that is our commitment, our desire, our fight and we're working," said coach Jorge Luis Pinto. "Whoever thinks otherwise you must leave this place to another."

"The team has been working very solid from the [Mexico] tie and I feel that in this process we do have the conditions to win the [Gold] Cup," he added.

The team will take on a Cuban side that has not had much international success. The country's Under-20 team failed to register a single point in the U-20 World Cup. The team has competed in all but five Gold Cups since 1991, but has never gotten father than the quarterfinals.

Predictions: Costa Rica is the favorite in this match and should win with little difficulty. Cuba will put up a fight in the opening stages of the match but will ultimately be overwhelmed as the match progresses. Costa Rica ultimately wins 4-0.

Start Time: Kick off starts at 8:30 PM EST.
TV: The match will be broadcast on Fox Soccer Channel and UniMas.
