Over the weekend, the government of Jalisco reported that two teenagers and a one year-old girl, who was taken from her mother, went missing from the metropolitan area sometime between Friday and Saturday. The two 15 year-old teenagers were identified as Luis Antonio Ortiz Guerra and Andrés Barba Olivas and the toddler was identified simply as Nancy. The Attorney General's office requested help to find them and issued a Pre-Amber Alert to coordinate the work of police and broadcast media.

In an statement, law enforcements reported that the two teenagers, who are close friends, were last seen Friday at the Plaza Ciudadela, in the intersection of Patria and Moctezuma Streets, in Zapopan City in Jalisco. Andrés was wearing black jeans, a grey t-shirt and white tennis shoes, while Luis Antonio was wearing blue jeans and a blue school uniform shirt.

Their relatives reported they would to go to school from there, but never made it. Ever since, photographs of both boys have hit the social networks, warning they may have been taken to another state.

Meanwhile, baby Nancy was taken from her mother by three men in a white car, at the intersection of Lázaro Cárdenas and 8 de Julio Streets, in Guadalajara. At the time, she was wearing blue jeans, white shoes and white blouse with a blue fish design. Information issued by the state government of Jalisco also stated that the woman fears her child may have been taken to another city or state.

Authorities have no clues on the missing children, so they're asking for the community's cooperation in providing information leading to their rescue.

For information on the three cases, two emergency numbers are available to the public: 3134-49-82 for the Guadalajara area and 01800-00-854-00 for the rest of Mexico.
