As we approach the release of the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, gamers have begun looking at the newest crop of next-gen video games and the stronger graphics the new consoles will be able to generate. To get players ready for the next-gen leap, we countdown the top 5 best looking PlayStation 4 and Xbox One games that have been shown so far.

5. Titanfall- This game looks pretty spectacular so far, with both the human players and their mech suits wonderfully detailed. While we have not seen much in the ways on environments or the epic moments Respawn has promised, the Xbox One game so far looks fantastic.

4. Any EA Sports Title- EA has NBA Live, Madden, FIFA 14, and a UFC title in the works, and all four of these games have brought a new level of realism to the table. It is hard to pick out just one of these titles, so all the EA Ignite titles deserve recognition for their excellent graphics.

3. Destiny- Bungie had a extensive gameplay demonstration of this game at E3, and it looked wonderful. The environments looked grand, and the firefights between the players and their alien foes was a treat to behold.

2. Forza 5- While it is one thing to bring a veritable horde of exotic sports cars to life, Forza 5 steps things up even more with an extreme attention to detail. This is seen when dirt and mud specks collect on cars during a race, and the environments that whiz by players when they are in the thick of a racing duel.

1. Battlefield 4- This is the best looking next-gen game, both in cutscenes and actual gameplay that we have seen. From the single player mission aboard a sinking ship to the collapsing skyscraper seen in the multiplayer demo, this game has set the bar for what gamers can expect from next-gen consoles.
